HUD Housing Counseling and Education

In addition to homebuyer education, THDA also manages HUD Housing Counseling funds as of Fiscal Year 2019. This not only includes education to borrowers looking to purchase a home, but also counseling and education for renters, individuals experiencing homelessness, post-purchase guidance, foreclosure prevention assistance, and protections in a reverse mortgage.
