Section 8 Complains and Concerns

This hotline is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
It is the responsibility of the owner/agent to address resident health and safety concerns, as well as general management issues. THDA becomes involved when it appears the owner/agent is not fulfilling this responsibility. THDA staff will gather information, assess the situation, and follow up on each call, email, fax, or letter.
THDA does not process complaints in instances where:
- Legal proceedings have been initiated by either party.
- Attorneys are involved.
- The party is not on the lease, unless the individual has written power of attorney.
- Disputes involving third parties.
- Interpretation of local laws and ordinances are needed.
