Community leaders in East Knoxville help break ground on Dogan Gaither Flats

Gov. Bill Lee joined local elected officials and community leaders in East Knoxville last week to help break ground on Dogan Gaither Flats, a halfway house for men who have been incarcerated. THDA awarded $2.58 million in Community Investments Tax Credits to help Knoxville-based nonprofit 4th Purpose convert the former Dogan-Gaither Motor Court building into supportive housing. 4th Purpose will partner with Middle Tennessee-based Men of Valor to operate the facility.
