THDA Executive Director Ralph M. Perrey joined representatives from Elmington Capital Group, the City of Knoxville and the Knoxville Community Development Corporation to help cut the ribbon on West Knoxville's newest affordable housing property.
The Flats at Pond Gap feature 102 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom units of affordable housing. THDA contributed $11.5 million in Tax Exempt Multi-Family Bonds to assist with the project. The City of Knoxville’s Affordable Rental Development Program contributed $555,000 to aid in construction. Elmington Capital and KCDC partnered on the development.
