HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH)

The HUD-VASH program combines the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) rental assistance for homeless Veterans with case management and clinical services provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The VA and HUD jointly manage the VASH Program with local housing agencies. VASH provides both a rent assistance voucher and case management services to low income veterans.

Eligible HUD-VASH families must be homeless veterans as determined by the Veteran Administration Medical Center (VAMC).
