Project-Based Voucher (PBV) Program
The Project-Based Voucher (PBV) Program is a rental assistance program that links federal subsidies to qualified housing units on behalf of eligible families.
The PBV program is designed to increase affordable housing access by partnering with property owners with available rental units for eligible low-income families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities.
The PBV is tied to the housing unit within the approved property and is made available to the eligible family.
PBV vouchers are only available in the 72 counties within the THDA’s Housing Choice Voucher Program service area.
For Property Owners Seeking an Allocation of Project-Based Vouchers:
THDA will be hosting a PBV offering application workshop to provide more information about the application and selection process.
